Character look dev
Helmet look dev
Everything was done by me, Except for the modeling.
(I made the helmet modeling, look dev using only nodes, lighting, Fog vfx and animation, rendering, and comp)
Undoubtedly, the project from which I've learned the most so far, Örs Bárczy's course https://www.artstation.com/barczyors (who has previously worked on projects with companies like Activision, Riot Games, Netflix, and Ubisoft), has been incredibly significant for my growth as a 3D artist. In this project, I learned to use nodes in Maya/Arnold to create materials (such as human skin, worn metal, and dirty glass) in an extremely efficient manner. I also became proficient in using and familiarized myself with Nuke, which also utilizes nodes in its workflow. The mentorship from Ivan Benítez https://www.artstation.com/ivanma98 (Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse) was essential in greatly advancing my lighting work and enabling me to perceive image details in a completely different way.
The video with the lightning and fog animation is pinned in my profile, and in my portfolio website in my bio.
Used Maya/Arnold and Nuke.
